There are more than 3 million practicing nurses in the United States. An additional 3 million in Canada, Mexico, and Europe, combined; and globally more than 27 million men and women compose the nursing and midwifery workforce.
The primary purpose of ANRSF is to support the practice of nursing, in a never-ending effort to enhance patient outcomes. Through support and advancement of an efficient, highly-educated nursing workforce, global healthcare will prosper and patient outcomes will continue to improve.
